I had the good fortune (and made the good choice) to attend the Chesapeake Writers’ Conference this past June. This was my first major writing conference, and it was a blast! I spent five days on the St. Mary’s College of Maryland campus, sharing it with about fifty other writers and Meatball the cat, whose head-butts I took as a promise of luck.
